A Little About Me…

Most importantly, I am the mother of three daughters who all share in the fun and passion of our foodie adventures. I am a self taught cook, explorer of great wines, and a lover of the outdoors and digging in the dirt.

As a little girl, I spent countless hours perched on the kitchen counter watching my father prepare dinners that ranged from grilled hotdogs with cheese to pate stuffed quail to the most divine cheese grits that has ever been made. His enthusiasm and “make it up as you go” way of putting ingredients together was a clear message to me that having fun and being creative in the kitchen would always yield the most wonderful results.

In the garden I whole heartedly subscribe to the idea that a little chaos goes a long way. No expert advice will be given here. What I hope to convey is the fun, passion and often surprise that is all a part of my gardening bliss.

With that, I invite you to step into my kitchen and out into my garden where we can share in the delights that come from both!
